Vision Statement

At the age of 17, I arrived in New Jersey as a young man with no family. I found myself living on the streets of Trenton New Jersey, sleeping in train station restrooms and sometimes homeless shelters. By the grace of God and the help of several people of goodwill as well as the local community support, I got myself a place of my own, and a job in Burger King and McDonald’s simultaneously. With the help of the local community mentoring program I was able to build a successful life for myself one brick at a time through education and hard work.

As a CEO of Gamie Collections my success can be attributed to those strangers or will I call them people of Goodwill that constantly pour wisdom into me when it is needed.

Here in Gamie Collections our vision is not only to create well crafted suits with some of the best fabrics possible from “Loro Piana Merino Wool, Vicuna, or Bespoke Silk Blends as well as super 180 luxurious fabric.

Above all, our vision is to give back to the community that gave me so much. That is why we have partnered with a local nonprofit organization called ” Faith In Action ” to provide mentorship to inner city children and young college graduates, as they prepare for their first job interview. We provide them with suits, ties, shirts, and shoes to help boost their professional esteem.

Mission Statement

To understand the depths of my motivation, I will ask that you allow me to tell you a story. Growing up in Africa in a middle class family around the age of 15 or 16. I remember my older brother whom I was very close to, who was about 24 years old at the time, had a friend he graduated with. This friend of my brother came from a very poor family.

On this particular day my brother’s friend came over to our house frustrated and in tears. He was looking for a job for the two years since they graduated. I watched from the side as my brother tried to sympathize and counsel him. My big brother took his friend to his closet and picked out one of his own suits, shirts, tie, and shoes. He then proceeded to our father’s closet and picked out my father’s briefcase and gave it to his friend. This changed the trajectory of his friend’s life, and it made an impact on me as well.

The very next day my brother offered to chauffeur his friend to his job interview in our father’s car.They returned the next day with his friend in tears of joy and above all gratitude. Not only was he given the job but he was offered all the 3 separate jobs he interviewed for.

Something profoundly important was established in me that day, “with the help of a well crafted suit on a man who dresses with intentions can unlock any door anytime and anywhere.” I view the wardrobe as a visual communication, from choosing clothes to command respect,
match his environment, and reflect his personal standards rather than following fleeting trends. Every detail—from tailoring to color.
